Basic Lemon Dressing

Basic Lemon Dressing

2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp sugar

½ tsp ground coriander

½ tsp ground cumin

½ tsp salt

¼ cup flaxseed oil

Place the ingredients in a deep bowl and whisk vigorously. Refrigerate leftovers for up to a week.

Note: Use brown sugar instead of white to give this dressing a rich flavour.

I was really amazed at this dressing. Its nice to find something fresh to add to your salads. This is also healthy too. Michael really liked this kind of dressing. This is also another recipe from Every Day Indian Cookbook.

  3. I love anything with lemons! Sounds great. The only ingredient I would need to find is the flaxseed oil - but I think I'd try it anyway with another oil if I couldn't find flaxseed.
