(Meme) Sundays In Bed With.. #2

This is my second time taking part in Sundays In Bed With.... and thankfully since its Mother's Day I was able to stay in bed just a little bit longer today. But first let me tell you about this fun meme.

The awesome blogger behind this is Kate from Midnight Book Girl   not only is she an awesome blogger but she is also one of my roommates for BEA. YAY!!!

Midnight Book Girl

Sundays In Bed With....is a meme I've started to share the book we're spending the morning in bed with, or the one we'd like to stay curled up in bed with all Sunday if only our busy lives would allow! For fun, take a picture of the book in your bed, or simply write up a post or comment below sharing your Sundays in Bed With book. Quoted from Kate's blog

Before going to bed last night I took a little time going through my bookcase to find a new book to read. As a book blogger you know what its like to have a ton of books in your TBR pile and not know what to read next so I figured since I will be meeting up with Tina from Bookshipper this week I thought I would take this one:

Its Abandon by Meg Cabot. This is the first book in Meg Cabot's Abandon series. I actually got this last year for Mother's Day. So what better time to read it. Well actually, the real reason I decided to read it was because Tina got the second book, Underworld and she asked me if I would be interested in reading and reviewing it for her so I will be. Thanks Tina.

Hope everyone had a good Sunday and that you managed to curl up with a book today. Thanks Kate for hosting this fantastic meme. See you soon.

  1. Book bloggers also know what it's like to have an unread book on their shelves for a year. I hope you're loving it!

  2. I haven't read anything by Meg Cabot yet but I do want to.

  3. I have Abandon but I haven't read it yet, but I've heard that Meg Cabot's adult books are better than her YA books. (Kate says it, so it must be true!)

  4. Kathy-I know I have so many books (I am sure you can relate) and not enough time to read them. I think I need to make some serious changes.

Bittner- If you are going to read any of Meg's books I have to recommend the Heather Wells series and the Queen of Babble as I think you would enjoy them

Kimberly- I think right now my favorite series is the Heather Wells series. Well yea if Kate says it then its true LOL (which by the way I have to agree with Kate)

  5. I love, love, love the Heather Wells series, and Queen of Babble! Abandon was just okay for me, although I did like Underworld a bit better. They just don't capture Cabot's romantic humor as well as her adult books do, but I adore anything to do with Greek mythology.

  6. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. It sure started off very nicely! I haven't read any of Meg Cabot's books yet but I have read many great reviews.

Enjoy and I'll be watching for your review!
btw, this is a great meme idea, I'm going to try to remember to visit Midnight Book Girl. I try to spend at least an hour in bed reading on Sunday mornings!
