(Meme) The Mailbox Post (July 2nd to 7th)
Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
Mailbox Monday is originally hosted by Marcia . In the summer of 2010 Marcia decided she needed a change in hosting and didn't want to rely on one blogger alone to do it because its a lot of work so she decided to put Mailbox Monday on tour and so far with great success it has made monthly stops at more then a dozen blogs and this year is booked until the end.
The host for July is Jennifer from Mrs Q. Book Addict . If that name sounds familiar its because she is a local Montreal blogger and if you haven't already checked out her blog then you should.
Speaking of another Montreal blogger, Tynga is doing a mailbox post called:
Tynga's Reviews is hosting this meme and you can check out this link to find out more about it .
Is it just me or does it seem like summer is flying by?
It was a quiet mailbox this week and I think that's due to the fact that it was Canada day on Sunday and the mailman are slowly getting back to work. Its hard when there is a double long weekend in Quebec.
This is the books I got for review:
-Rift by Andrea Cremer (This is coming out August 2012 and I am on the Canadian Blog Tour for this. So excited and now that I have the finally book in the trilogy I plan on doing a little mini read-a-thon and reading them all in a row.) Love the cover
-Inescapable by Nancy Mehl (This sounds really good and I love these kind of books)
-Charming Blue by Kristine Grayson. (This is coming out in September and this is another series I am loving)
This week I didn't buy any books and avoided the bookstores. Yea I know hard to believe eh?
The freebies that came to the house this week:
-Biore combination skin balancing cleanser (7ml)
- Since we were at lenscrafters we got 3 premoistened lens towelettes
-Then in the weekly flyers there was a 9ml Tresemme Shampoo and conditioner for split remedy
My sister graciously ordered The Celestial Seasonings freebie for me and it included a Van Houtte french vanilla iced coffee, one classic iced tea and two lemonade iced tea k-cups. I remember doing it for me but I never got the freebie so I am happy she got it. I have been wanting to try the iced coffee and ice teas for a while now.
So that is all the came to my mailbox this week. I hope everyone has a good weekend.
Happy Summer vacation to all the kiddies out there.

It always seems to take the mail a few days to catch up after a holiday. Enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteI've heard alot about Rift by Andrea Creamer, is it apart of a series ?
ReplyDeleteI bought my mom a Keurig and I can't wait to get one of my own ! I can't believe you can order free k-cups.
I've heard great things about Andrea Cremer's books, so I should definitely add them to my TBR list. =)
