This is Day Three of Book Blogger Appreciation Week and the meme today is Our Reading Habits.
I was going to be creative but for some reason its not working out so I will answer the questions below in a few words.
Do you snack while you read?
-Usually I don't tend to snack while I am reading because I read in bed.
If so, favorite reading snack?
-My favorite reading snack tends to be popcorn.
Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
-Just the thought of marking in my books scares me.
How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears?Laying the book flat open?
-I always use either a bookmark, a piece of paper or a post it. I never dog ear or lay my book flat. I cringe when I see people doing that.
Fiction, Non-fiction, or both?
-I am all about fiction but if the book is interesting and its non fiction I will read it.
Hard copy or audiobooks?
-I prefer hard copy. With audio books they end up being back ground noise to me.
Are you a person who tends to read to the end of chapters, or are you able to put a book down at any point?
-This depends on the book but I am able to put it down at points if need be.
If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away?
-Yes I do.
What are you currently reading?
-I am currently reading Love to Love you Brady's
What is the last book you bought?
-The last book I bought was Forever by Judy Blume
Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can you read more than one at a time?
-I have to admit that I am the type of person who can only read one book at a time.
Do you have a favorite time of day and/or place to read?
-I usually like to read at night time in bed but during the day if I read I curl up on the couch and read.
Do you prefer series books or stand alone books?
-It depends on the book but I prefer stand alone books.
Is there a specific book or author that you find yourself recommending over and over?
-Right now its been Willow and Bran Hambric that I have been recommending alot lately.
How do you organize your books? (By genre, title, author’s last name, etc.?)
-Sadly I don't have that done yet with my books. They all tend to be put on the shelf as is. The books I do keep will be organized but I am good with passing on my books.
Can't wait to see what you think of the Brady book. My dad called them the "Bratty" Bunch when the show was on. I can only read one book at a time too.

ReplyDeleteI have a suspicion it won't be long before you'll be alphabetizing your books to keep track of them!
I just added Forever to my TBR pile within the past few weeks. I loved her books when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteI struggle with the same issue with audio books. I tend to tone out as my mind starts wandering and then I have to go back. I'm hoping to get better about it though.
